Meet Joyce

Joyce is a bright young girl whose life has been transformed by African Girls Hope Foundation. Over the past 4 years Joyce has received invaluable support including tuition, uniforms, school supplies, and hygiene products, thanks to your generous donations. 

While in a refugee camp in Tanzania, Joyce lost both her parents and 3 of her siblings at the tender age of 10, when an unknown group of people attacked and torched their home. She and her 2 remaining siblings were then moved to Kenya to flee the violence and live safely with their uncle.

Through AGHF's intervention, she has been able to attend school. At school she is not only getting an education, but also building lasting friendships and a support network to help her face life amidst the trauma she has suffered.

Joyce is now filled with hope and ambition, actively working towards her goal of becoming a Nurse. Your contributions have been a beacon of hope illuminating Joyce’s path to a brighter future.
