Meet Gihozo

Gihozo is a resilient young girl whose life has taken a positive turn with the help of African Girls Hope Foundation.

Three years ago, Gihozo faced immense challenges when her mother tragically passed away during childbirth. Her family situation became very difficult. As refugees in Kenya, her father had to focus on taking care of the newborn, making it hard for them to make ends meet. With little money, there was no chance for Gihozo to go to school.

Now with AGHF's support, Gihozo has received tuition, uniforms, school supplies, and hygiene products, enabling her to continue her education without interruption.

Gihozo's dedication to her studies has paid off remarkably; in 2023, she emerged as the top student in her school in the National Examinations for Grade 8.

She dreams of becoming a physician and making a difference in the lives of others.
