Boone Methodist Church reaches out to Girls in Africa
Dr. Grace has been on the road again! This time she was off to the beautiful state of North Carolina.
Anne & Angel (AGHF volunteers) also joined Grace to help share and invite those in Boone to join with us in supporting orphan and refugee girls in Africa. The trip was a huge success in many ways.
Boone United Methodist Church (BUMC) holds a 'Great Day of Servic'e every year. Their amazing community comes together to learn, serve and support others. From Friday evening through Sunday, Dr. Grace, Anne and Angel were able to highlight the mission of AGHF.
We are grateful for BUMC’s warm welcome and open arms of support.
Saturday members of the church community came together for a special activity where they wrote almost 100 heartfelt cards filled with words of encouragement and inspiration for the girls currently receiving the full education scholarships from AGHF. These messages, paired with prayers and donations, were a tangible expression of the church's love and commitment to supporting this important cause.
Sunday Dr. Grace shared powerful stories about the resilience and hope of the young girls her organization serves. Her message highlighted the powerful impact that love, education, and faith can have on the lives of some of the most vulnerable children in the world.
African Girls Hope extends its sincere appreciation to everyone who contributed their time, resources, and prayers. Together, we are helping to shine a light of hope and compassion across the world. Education makes a powerful difference in the lives of these young girls.
Boone United Methodist Church has been a dedicated supporter of AGHF for many years. We are sincerely thankful for their enduring commitment to providing education for orphaned and refugee girls in Africa!
