How are the girls doing?

Thank you to our mentors in Africa!

Your time and care makes a big difference in the success each girl experiences in her education goals.

I want to share an update on the recent holiday performance review meetings we held during the second week of August at our Nairobi office.

As always, our students come in with their parent or guardian to submit their end-term results. We take this time to sit down with each of them and discuss their personal progress. These meetings are more than just a routine check-in, they're a chance for us to really understand the unique experiences and challenges each girl is facing and to offer them the encouragement & support they need to keep moving forward.

I’m happy to share that 90% of our girls showed noticeable improvement this term! This progress is a testament to the dedication of our team, the commitment of the parents & guardians, and, of course, the hard work of the girls themselves. They are succeeding in their education.

During our discussions, we also make sure to remind everyone how crucial parental/guardian support is in this educational journey. Also our mentors have been an incredible help, staying in touch with both students and parents to keep them motivated and focused on their educational & life goals.

As we continue to move forward, our aim is to provide even more targeted support, while also ensuring that parents/guardians remain actively involved in each girl's education.
