Did you know . . .
many girls in Africa are graduating from High School without ever taking a computer class or using a computer to do homework or any assignments?
We are so excited - the day is finally here! With your donations - this barrier is being removed from their education!
Today, 11 AGHF girls entered a computer class at Bridge College!
Ready for the First day of Computer Classes! Girls on Computers!
Last Tuesday, we officially started the computer course program for high school graduates at Bridge College in Nairobi.
Facilitators: The AGHF team, led by Program Director Mr. Daniel Guillaume and Mr. Clement Sebwatware, in collaboration with Bridge College teachers and management. Thank you!
Course Details:
Duration: 3 months
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 2-3 hours each day
Curriculum: This course is a basic computer package and centers on building foundational skills
Certification: Upon successfully graduating, each student will receive a certificate
Highlights:
The girls were able to complete registration and participate in orientation while learning classroom guidelines and expectations, so they are off to a great start! We wish them the best!
