School Fees

There is not a general free public school system in Kenya and the DRC.

Students must pay tuition to enter school each year as well as additional fees for end of term exams.

These are the 4 main fees that our full scholarship includes.

All local schools require each student to pay before each semester.
End of the year exams are required to graduate to the next year. These exam fees must be paid in order to graduate. They are separate from entrance fees.
Depending on where a girl lives, there are sometimes fees for transportation to get her to and from school safely.
Depending on which local school she attends, there are sometimes lunch fees required for her to have any food during a school day.
