Book Lovers
Hold a Book sale! Ask friends & neighbors to donate books. Mimic a yard sale - but w/books. Display on tables ($3. table, $5 table, $8 table). Advertise with flyers, balloons & signs. Use a friends yard that is in a great location. “Buy a book - help send a girl to school”
Shoe Lovers
Hold a shoe sale! Ask friends & neighbors to donate good quality shoes. Mimic a yard sale - but w/shoes. Set out on tables ($3 table, $5 table, $8 table). Advertise with flyers, balloons & signs. Use a friends yard that is in a great location. “Send Girls to School - Shoe Sale” “Share with Shoes”
Swim for Education
Ask a local pool to donate 1/2 (or more) of their ticket sales for one day to support girls education!
OR if you have a pool, hold a pool party - charge a donation fee to enter.
Golf Lovers
Golf tournaments can come in all sizes. Have teams sign-up, ask the golf course to donate the fees. You could do a lot of different twists with this.
Dads for Girl’s Education
Pick a fun movie - provide free popcorn & charge a fee to enter. Great for kids of any age bring friends & family!
Another option would be to ask a movie theatre to donate 1/2 the ticket sales for one night!
